摘要
提出了基于快速提升小波变换的多阈值嵌入零树小波图像编码算法 ,该算法能够通过以下 3项措施进一步提高嵌入零树小波编码 (EmbeddedZerotreeWavelet,简称EZW )编码方案之工作效率 :①引入快速提升小波以改进变换过程 ;②定义多阈值以完善逐次逼近量化过程 ;③采纳复杂关联模型以提高熵编码效率。实验结果表明 :提出算法是一种高效的图像压缩算法 ,其压缩速度。
A novel embedded zerotree wavelet image coding based on fast lifting wavelet transform and multi threshold is presented. In our new image compression algorithm, the fast lifting wavelet transform is used instead of fast wavelet transform, only significant subbands are scanned by using the significant test with the multi threshold, and the complex context modeling is used. The experiment results show that our new image compression scheme performs better than that of EZW in the aspects of compression ratio, image quality and coding efficiency.
