摘要
苏格拉底的"产婆术"是教育学的重要概念,也是当下教学实践的基本方法。文章采用文本细读对"产婆术"进行追本溯源,以此提倡回归古典的教育解读。在苏格拉底的教育实践中,"产婆术"的实践目的是探究事物本质和引导个体省察自我灵魂;"产婆术"的实践主体既需要具备勇敢、虔敬、节制等高贵德性,也需要具有辨别需要、真假与天性的教育技艺;"产婆术"的实践过程表现出因人而异、循环深入和开放结局的特点。当下教育实践使用苏格拉底的"产婆术"时需要审慎,需以学生已有经验为前提,注重理智思维的养成,朝向人生志向的萌发。
Socrates’"midwifery"is an important concept of pedagogy and one of the basic methods of teaching practice at present.This paper traces the origin of Socrates’"midwifery"by means of close reading,and advocates a return to the classical interpretation.In the teaching practice of Socrates,the purpose of using"midwifery"is to inquire into the nature of things and to guide individuals to examine their own souls.The user of"midwifery"not only needs to possess the noble virtues such as courage,godliness,and temperance,but also needs to have the educational skills to recognize one’s need and nature.The process of using"midwifery"has the characteristics as follows:varying from person to person,going into deep circularly,and openness.Socrates’"midwifery"should be used prudently in current educational practice.It is necessary to take the student’s experience as the premise,and to pay attention to the development of rational thinking,and the establishment of life’s ambition.
