系统地考察了直流、交流激励下 ,圆管、矩形管中金属液的磁场分布 ,针对磁场的不均匀性 ,提出了“等效电流密度”的概念 ,解析了电磁净化效率的理论公式 计算表明 ,一般情况下 ,3× 10 6A/m2 电流可以把钢液中 90 %的2 0 μm夹杂和 5 0 %的 10
The magnetic field induced by applied AC and DC current in round and rectangular pipe used for electromagnetic separation of inclusions from liquid steel was systematically investigated.Then a concept of 'equivalent current density' is proposed for evaluating the inhomogeneous electromagnetic pinch force,and removal efficiencies of inclusions are formulized.It is founded that a removal efficiency of 50% for 10 μm inclusion or of 90% for 20 μm inclusion can be achieved under a 3×10 6 A/m 2 applied current density.Furthermore,it shows that there are advantages in using DC over AC and flat pipe over round pipe for the electromagnetic removal of inclusion.
