Objective To evaluate the efficacy of MRI imaging after traCTion treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Methods From January 2017 to December 2018,47 cases of lumbar disc herniation treated by traCTion in our hospital were seleCTed.Before and after treatment,MRI examination was performed, and the clinical efficacy and imaging manifestations before and after treatment were evaluated. Results Tthe average height of intervertebral space was(11.62±2.31)mm before treatment and(13.56±3.21)mm after treatment. The average cross-seCTional area of dural sac was(1.13±0.52)cm2 before treatment and(1.23±0.31)cm2 after treatment. There were significant differences in the average height of intervertebral space and the average cross-seCTional area of dural sac before and after treatment. In the effeCTive group(n=36),the average height of intervertebral space and the average crossseCTional area of dural sac were increased by(3.98±1.31)mm and(0.75±0.05)cm2,respeCTively.In the ineffeCTive group(n=11),the average height of intervertebral space and the average cross-seCTional area of dural sac were increased by(1.98±0.56)mm and(0.34±0.12)cm2,respeCTively.Conclusion MRI can be used as an important imaging examination method to evaluate the curative effeCT of traCTion in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.
