摘要
我国大学英语教学中对英语文化的学习非常重视。这种重视却并没有换来学生跨文化交际能力的提升,反而是汉语言文化“负迁移”现象越来越严重。学生可以如数家珍一般的用英语来讲述西方传统节日和民俗文化,但在用英语介绍中国传统文化的时候心中无数。应当在大学英语教学之中积极引入文化嵌入式思维,将中华传统文化嵌入到大学英语教学之中,真正的做到培养学生跨文化交际的能力。
College English teaching in China attaches great importance to the study of English culture;however,the attention has not resulted in the improvement of students’cross-cultural communicative competence,but leads to the more serious phenomenon of“negative transfer”of Chinese language and culture.Some students can tell about Western traditional festivals and folk culture in English in a familiar way,but they are uncertain when they introduce Chinese traditional culture in English,for they don’t have much in mind.In view of this phenomenon,culture-embedded thinking should be actively introduced into college English teaching by embedding Chinese traditional culture into the teaching,so as to cultivate students’cross-cultural communication ability.
