摘要
本研究采用在线可接受性判断任务对比中国EFL学生与英语本族语者搭配加工中词汇频率(节点词频、搭配词频和搭配频率)、语义一致以及语言水平等的影响。结果采用R混合效应模型进行分析。研究发现:1)英语本族语者和中国学习者均在双语同译搭配判断上准确率更高,但反应速度不比对异译搭配的判断更快;2)中国学生的语言水平调节着单词词频和搭配频率对搭配判断的反应速度和时间;3)词汇频率对同译程度不一的搭配判断都起着调节作用。依据研究结果,作者提出二语搭配从规则分析到整体表征的连续统观,并指出语义透明性是考量搭配加工的另一重要变量。
The present study investigated the effects of lexical frequency(node frequency,collocate frequency,and collocational frequency),semantic congruency,and language proficiency during the online acceptability judgement task of English collocations by both native speakers of English(NSs)and Chinese EFL learners(NNSs).All the data was analyzed using R mixed-effects model.Results showed that:1)both NSs and NNSs processed more accurately same-translated collocations but not faster than judging different-translated collocations;2)NNSs’language proficiency modulated the effects of constituent word frequency and collocational frequency on the processing output;and 3)lexical frequency played a modulating role in the processing of all types of collocations for both NSs and NNSs.A tentative continuum model from rule-based to holistic processing has been put forth,and the issue of semantic transparency has been raised for future collocational research.
