摘要
随着我国国际交流与合作的深化,通用英语向学术英语转型成为高校大学英语教学的必然趋势。作为专门用途英语的一个分支,学术英语能为高校学生用英语开展研究和专业学习提供必要的语言支撑。面对这一趋势,当前我国大学英语教师应具备学术英语教学的核心专业能力和素养,即良好的跨学科知识、熟练的学术英语教学技能、基本的学术技能与学术素养。为此,高校应多举措拓展大学英语教师的跨学科知识面,组建学术教师共同体提升高校英语教师的教学技能,搭建多个平台提高学术英语教师的学术技能与学术素养,积极构建和谐温馨的教育生态促进教师的专业发展。
With the deepening of international communication and cooperation in China,the transformation from general English to academic English has become an inevitable trend in college English teaching.As a branch of ESP,academic English can provide necessary language support for college students to carry out research and major study in English.In response to this trend,college English teachers in China should have the core professional competence and quality of academic English teaching,that is,good interdisciplinary knowledge,proficient academic English teaching skills,basic academic skills and academic literacy.Therefore,college should take various measures to expand the interdisciplinary knowledge of college English teachers,establish the community of academic teachers to improve the teaching skills of college English teachers,build multiple platforms to improve academic skills and academic literacy of academic English teachers,and actively construct harmonious and warm education ecology to promote the professional development of teachers.
