摘要
阿尔茨海默病(AD)是一种神经系统退行性疾病,以进行性认知功能障碍为主要临床表现。研究显示,丁酰胆碱酯酶(BChE)的酶催化及非酶催化功能分别在AD的乙酰胆碱(ACh)水解及β-淀粉样蛋白(Aβ)沉积中发挥重要作用。部分中草药的活性部位和有效成分可能通过抑制BChE,增加ACh及减少Aβ沉积,从而改善AD。
Alzheimer’s disease(AD) is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by progressive cognitive impairment as main clinical manifestation. Studies have demonstrated that the enzymatic and non-enzymatic functions of butyrylcholinesterase(BChE) exert the crucial role in hydrolysis of acetylcholine(ACh) and deposition of amyloid β-protein(Aβ) in AD, respectively. The active extracts and effective compounds of some Chinese herbal medicines can improve AD by inhibiting BChE, increasing ACh and decreasing deposition of Aβ.
