Objective:To explore the feasibility of the application of map reading dialogue tool based on authorization theory in the first insulin injection of elderly diabetic patients.Method:A total of 186 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to our hospital from February 2017 to October 2019 were selected and divided into study group and control group according to the random number table method,93 cases in each group. The control group was given diabetes lecture intervention, and the study group was given map reading dialogue tool based on authorization theory intervention.Self-care ability, blood glucose level, authorization ability and insulin adverse events before and after intervention were compared between the two groups.Result:After the intervention, the all self-care ability scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, the fasting blood glucose(FPG),2 h postprandial blood glucose(2 h PG),and glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c)in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, the authorization ability score in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of insulin adverse events in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The map reading dialogue tool based on authorization theory in the first insulin injection of elderly diabetic patients for the education of diabetic knowledge, which can effectively improve patients self nursing ability, facilitate the control of blood glucose index after insulin injection, improve the patients’authorization ability and reduce the occurrence of adverse events of insulin, which is worthy of promotion and in-depth study in clinical practice.
