摘要
对于合金凝固过程中发生膨胀或收缩的微小体积变化难以测试的问题。文中利用真空电磁悬浮熔炼技术,结合高速摄影和高灵敏测温技术研究Al-70%Si(原子百分比)合金熔体在凝固过程的体积(V)变化,以及凝固过冷度对该合金凝固前后体积变化的影响。研究结果表明:Al-70%Si合金凝固过程的体积变化是膨胀的,并且随着凝固过冷度的增加,体积膨胀率(η)逐渐降低,这与预测结果吻合,由此验证了电磁悬浮熔炼技术测试体积变化的可靠性。
The study is intended to solve the problem that it is difficult to test small changes in volume during the solidification of alloys.In this paper,the vacuum electromagnetic levitation technique is combined with high speed photography and high sensitivity temperature measurement technology to study the volume change of Al 70%Si(atomic percentage)alloy melt during its solidification process and the effects of solidification undercooling on the volume change before and after the solidification of Al 70%Si alloy melt.The results show that the volume expansion occurs during the solidification,and that the expansion rate(η)gradually decreases with an increasing in undercooling degree.The results are consistent with the theoretical prediction,which therefore verifies the reliability of the test method of electromagnetic levitation melting.
