Objection:To compare therapeutic effects of analgesia induced by Back-Shu point moxibustion plus oral oxycodone tablets. Methods:Randomized controlled trial(RCT)research was designed in this study. The observation groups were treated with Back-Shu point moxibustion plus oxycodone, and the controls with oxycodone only.Course of the treatment was 6 days.Pain intensity was assessed by numerical rating scale(NRS);and pain relief rate(PAR)was used to assessing analgesia improvement efficiency. On 7th day, serum IL-6 and TNF-αwere detected by ELISA.Result:This study showed that NRS scores in both groups were decreased(all P<0.05).,and the NRS scores in the observation groups were better than that in the control groups(all P<0.05).And PAR of the observation group was better than that of the control group after treatment(P<0.05).Serum TNF-αwhich after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment in both groups(P<0.05),and it was more significantly in observation groups(P<0.05).There was no significant changed in serum IL-6 level in the control groups(P>0.05);while the serum IL-6 was obviously diminished in the observation groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Moxibustion at Back-Shu point had a significant synergistic ability on the analgesic effect of oral oxycodone tablets. This effect has been preliminarily confirmed to be related to the reduction of inflammatory response factors IL-6 and TNF-α.
