摘要
本文讨论情态语气范畴中语气词的功能问题。首先对讨论的对象语气词作出界定。认为语气词功能的含义应该是宽泛的,不仅表现在表义上,还体现在其他方面;语气词的功能不仅可以由句末语气词体现,也可以由句中语气词体现。语气词在情态语气范畴中的作用可以归纳为表义功能、完句功能和篇章功能。
The paper deals with the function of modal particles in modal category. First of all it gives a defini-tion to the modal particle, claiming its functions to be extensive, embodied not only in the expression of meanings but also in other respects. A modal particle shows its function through its position either at the end or in the middle of a sentence. And its function can be summed up as to include the function of meaning - expression, sentence-completion, and structuring the entire writing.
