摘要
机械英语是科技英语的重要组成部分,在机械行业的学术交流和企业生产、运转中发挥了十分重要的作用。机械英语翻译具有较强的专业性,在翻译实践中存在着种种困难。翻译目的论在科技英语翻译中具有独特的优势,以目的论为指导对机械英语进行翻译有利于在跨文化、跨学科交际中更好地理解相关术语的概念,对于专业领域的科技词汇有更深层次的认识,提高翻译的准确性。
Machinery English is an important part of science and technology English. It plays a very important role in the academic exchanges in the machinery industry and in the production and operation of enterprises. Mechanical English translation has strong specialty with many difficulties in translation practices. Skopostheorie-based translation in mechanical English is conducive to a better understanding of related terms in cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary communications, a deeper understanding of professional scientific vocabularies, and improving the accuracy of translation.
