Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of high frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with paliperidone in the treatment of senile schizophrenic negative symptoms. Methods A total of 60 elderly women with schizophrenia negative symptoms in our hospital from January 2016 to November 2017 were selected, were randomly divided into control group and observation group for 30 cases. Paliperidone was used in the two groups, and the observation group combined with high frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, and the control group was given pseudo stimulation. Evaluated the patients’ symptoms improvement、cognitive function and adverse reactions. Results After 8 weeks of treatment, the negative symptoms, positive symptoms, general psychopathological points and total scores in the observation group was lower(P<0.05). The nomenclature scores of the observation group was higher(P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was higher(P<0.05). There was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion For the elderly schizophrenic patients with negative symptoms, giving paliperidone treatment combined with high-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, could obviously promote the negative symptoms and cognitive function, worthy of clinical application.
