基于快速固化树脂体系的VARI工艺优化 被引量:2

Optimization of VARI Process with Fast Curing Resin

摘要 复合材料成型工艺中,快速成型工艺有HP-RTM,湿法模压和SMC模压等,工艺的成型特点有:树脂固化速度快,生产节拍快,产品性能好等。常规复材成型工艺有RTM, VARI和手糊工艺等,但工艺中应用的树脂体系固化周期长,生产效率低,生产节拍长。在室温下,快速固化树脂的粘度高,操作时间短,凝胶时间快;而常规树脂的粘度低,操作时间长,但是固化时间较长。因此,本文探索了快速固化树脂体系与VARI工艺相结合的方法,制作了400*400*2 mm的碳纤维复合材料层合板。与普通VARI工艺相比,该方法注胶时间缩短了75%,固化速度提高了67%;而与HP-RTM相比,则大大降低了制作成本。快速固化树脂优化VARI工艺的方法,打破了快速固化树脂仅能应用到快速成型工艺的常规思想,缩短了VARI工艺的生产周期,提高了生产效率;此外,该优化工艺也可替代快速液体成型工艺进行前期测试样板的制作,以进行快速固化树脂与织物结合性、浸润性的验证,节省了模具制作、设备使用、试验材料耗费等成本。 As for the forming processes of composite materials,the rapid forming processes include HP-RTM,wet-pressing and SMC,which has the characteristics of fast curing,short cycle time and remarkable performances..The conventional processes include RTM,VARI and hand lay-up,usually have a long curing time,therefore a low production efficiency,and long cycle time.The fast curing resin for rapid forming processes often have the characteristics of high viscosity,short open time,fast gel time at room temperature,Whereas the resin for conventional processes have a much lower viscosity with a much longer open time,however,the curing time is very long.As a result,the aim of this work is to explore an optimized method for fabrication of a carbon fiber composite panel by the fast curing resin via the VARI process,and the composite panel has a size of 400*400*2 mm.This optimized method reduces the injection time by 75%and the curing time by 67%in compare with the conventional VARI processes;Whereas the production cost is tremendously reduced in compare with the HP-RTM process.This method adjusts the application of fast curing resin not only in rapid forming processes,but also in the conventional VARI process,which brings the great benefit of cycle time reduction and hence a rise in productivity.Moreover,this optimized method is an alternative for preliminary testing such as the verification of wettings and interface properties between resin and fiber fabrics,which would save the high cost on HP-RTM mold,equipment running,and the resin wastage.
