摘要
本文介绍了多元智能理论,讨论了多元智能与英语教学整合的可能性与必要性,进而提出了两者整合的具体设想,以期利用基于多元智能开发的丰富活动形式来改进英语教学形式,激发学生潜质,提高学习效果,系统全面地开发学生的多种智能,促进英语教学质量与学生综合素质的提高.
The development of information society has presented English instruction with serious challenges, which encourages educators to untiringly explore innovative method to improve English learners' performance. Although some achievement has been gained, the authors argue that there exists huge reform room at the aspect of raising comprehensive quality of learners. Taking the basic theory of Multiple Intelligence theory as a starting point, this paper discusses the possibility and necessity of integrating this theory into English instruction. A functional plan was further put forward for the purpose of using rich activity forms based on Multiple Intelligence theory to promote English instruction.
