摘要
磁共振成像在显示与诊断小儿颅脑疾患中的作用已颇受临床关注。由于它无放射辐射、具有高度软组织分辨率、多参数成像、可作任意方向切层以及无骨性伪影等特点,因此,在显示小儿复杂畸形、髓鞘病变、后颅凹病变以及小儿癫痫方面较CT有明显的优越性。本文就我们的初步经验作一介绍。
MR imaging (MRI) has had a major impact on the diagnosis of disorders of the central nervous system (CNS) in children. Although the ability of MRI to define pediatric CNS neoplasia has been stressed in several previous reports, its clinical role in the evaluation of craniocerebral diseases con tinues to evolve. The Purpose of this article was to explore the application of MRI in diagnosis pediatric lesions of the brain. Twenty-one patients with known lesion of the brain as diagnosed by GT Scanning were evaluated with cranial MR Scans. Because of its muhiplanar capability, superb anatomic visualization, capacity to differentiate tissues according to relaxation characteristics, and lack of ionizing radiation, MRI may eventually become the imaging method of choice, especially for demonstrating the complex developmental deformity, the temporal lobe epilepsia and white matter disease.
