摘要
本文从理论上和方法上对重复力进行了探讨,进而以油橄榄选种和白榆无性系对比试验为例,说明了重复力在树木育种中的应用。
Repeatability is a measurement of consistency and stability of phenotypic expression for a given genotype under various replication in time and space. It is the ratio of the sum of genetic variance and general environmental variance to the phenotypic variance, usually computed by the technique of analysis of variance. Repeatability is useful in the following cases. 1. sample size determination to achieve a given degree of precision in estimating individual performance, 2. predication of individual performance in different environments, and 3. setting upper limit for broad sense heritability in mass selection. The application potentiality of repeatability in tree breeding may exceed that in animal breeding because of the longevity of trees, vast possibilities of vegetative propagation.
