摘要
对香猪种猪的生长发育和生长肥育猪的育肥性能进行了测定。结果表明:香猪体型小、生长慢,18月龄时1世代公、母猪体重分别为 37.33±1.55 kg和 43.13±6.13 kg,2世代公、母猪体重为 36.33±2.55 kg和 41.73±7.26 kg,2个世代香猪的生长发育状况相似,显示香猪是一个性能稳定的小型猪种;香猪育肥期日增重低,2次试验中分别为204.21±36.33g和201.11±31.11g,其饲料利用率和屠宰率也较低,然而其肉质较好,色、香、味俱佳。
The performances of Xiang pigs about the growth and development and the fattening were measured at the breeding farm of School of Agriculture and Biology, Shanghai Jiaotong University. The results showed that the body size was small and the growth rate was low. At the age of 18 months, the body weight of the boar and the sow in the first generation were 37. 33±1. 55 kg and 43. 13±6. 13 kg respectively, and that in the second generation were 36. 33±2. 55 kg and 41. 73±7. 26 kg respectively. The performances of development in the first and second generations were similar, and the information proved the Xiang pigs as a mini-pig breed whose performances were stable. In spite of the low daily gain at the fattening period, which were only 204. 21±36. 33 g and 201. 11±31. 11 g respectively in different tests, and the low feed conversion efficiency and carcass yield, the meat quality and flavor of Xiang pigs were better than that of other breeds of pigs. The result would provide scientific evidences f the breeding and the development of Xiang pigs.
