CALIS的 Z3 9.5 0联机编目客户端是一通用的编目客户端 ,具有功能强大 ,设置灵活 ,操作简单 ,方便易用的特点。它适用于图书馆编目人员进行 MARC记录的所有编目工作。该客户端为参加 CAL IS项目的各图书馆普遍使用 ,来真正实现 CAL IS联机编目的目的。本文论述了其功能特点以及特色应用方法 ,供图书馆编目人员借鉴和参考。熟练掌握此编目客户端的功能和正确应用它们 ,将给编目工作人员带来极大方便 ,减轻工作量 ,提高工作效率。
CALIS Z39.50 Online Cataloging Client is used mainly by academic libraries to realize really online cataloging. It has great functions, and the feature of being customized flexibly, and easy operated and used. Through the client, the user can search and download the MARC data of CALIS union catalog and other data sources and edit MARC records, and submit MARC record to CALIS union catalog in real time.
