摘要
模因,文化进化中的基本信息单位,能成功实现自我复制和广泛传播的模因即为强势模因。文化传播研究中,强势模因的生成、发展与传播是解释共生模因兴衰的最有力的理论体系。青花瓷与釉里红创烧年代相同,制作工艺几乎一致,但青花瓷在产量上、传播广度上力压釉里红,成为强势陶瓷文化模因。以釉里红和青花瓷的发展为例,从工艺、纵向传递和横向传播等方面探讨两者在保真度、长寿性和多产性的差异,探求青花瓷成为强势模因进而成为陶瓷文化符号的深层次原因。
Meme is the basic information unit in cultural evolution, and strong memes are those can be replicated and widely transmitted. The study on the formation, development and propagation of strong memes provides the most convincing explanation for the rise and fall of symbiotic meme. Being inferior in productivity and transmitting breadth, the Under-glazed Red was beaten by the stronger Blue-and-white memes, though they originated in the same period with the similar processing. From the aspect of vertical and horizontal transmission, this paper first probes into the different longevity, productivity and fidelity of both Under-glazed Red and Blue-and-white, and then takes a insight into the reasons for the strong Blue-and-white memes.
