摘要
日益严重的人口老龄化与不断扩大的收入差距之间是否存在着某种联系?本文利用中国健康营养调查数据(CHNS)1988-2010年的家庭收入微观数据,分别测算全国、东部、中部、西部和东北地区的基尼系数和老龄化系数,利用Pearson相关性检验分别分析全国及各地区的居民收入不平等与人口老龄化之间的关系,结果表明全国居民收入不平等与老龄化之间存在显著的正相关关系,而各地区收入不平等与老龄化之间的关系虽然存在一些差异性,但整体正相关关系也较显著。
Is there a connection between growing population aging and widening income inequality？ In this paper, we used China Health and Nutrition Survey （CHNS） （1988-2010） yearly household income data and calculated Gini coefficient and population aging coefficient of national wide, eastern, central, western and northeastern regions respectively. Pearson correlation test was used to analyze the relationship between the national and regional income inequality and population aging. The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between national income inequality and aging. While there are some differences in the relationship between income inequality and aging in different regions, the overall positive correlation is also significant.
