介绍了当前世界硬质合金工业的现状及近十五年来的技术进展。估计现在全世界的硬质合金年产量约为 330 0 0t。比十年前增长了约 10 %。如果不考虑前苏联地区 ,世界其余地区的年增长率近十年约为2 4 %。介绍了瑞典山特维克 (Sandvik)公司、美国肯纳金属 (Kennametal)公司、以色列依斯卡 (Iscar)公司及日本硬质合金工业概况。较为详细地介绍了近十五年来粉末原料制取工艺、超细硬质合金、梯度组织硬质合金、表面涂层工艺 (CVD和PVD)。
The status quo of the cemented carbide industry and its technical progress in the last fifteen years were presented. It is estimated that the annual production amount of cemented carbide is about 33000 t worldwide today and increases by 10% as compared with that ten years ago. The annual growth rate is about 2.4% in the world excluding the previous Soviet Union. The cemented carbide industry of Sandvik AB in Sweden, Japan, Kennametal in US and Iscar in Israel described. The production technical progress in the last 15 years in the field of powder production technology, ultrafine cemented carbide, gradient structure cemented carbide, coating technology (CVD and PVD), forming technology and production process automation is presented.
