Finite Element Simulation of Extrusion Process of TC4 Titanium Alloy Profile

摘要 利用有限元软件Deform-3D对TC4钛合金L型截面型材的挤压过程进行了模拟。研究了挤压速度对型材成形的影响,分析了挤压过程中型材的应力应变分布。结果表明,L型型材截面拐角处变形量最大,是挤压过程中易于产生缺陷的危险区域。此外,通过微观组织观察验证了有限元模拟的准确性。 The extrusion process of L-shape profile for TC4 titanium alloy was simulated by using finite element software Deform-3D. The influence of extrusion speed on profile forming was studied, and the stress and strain distributions were analyzed during extrusion process. The results show that the deformation in the corner parts of L-shape profile section is the largest, which is a dangerous area to produce defects easily during extrusion. In addition, the accuracy of the finite element simulation was verified by microstructure observation.
