摘要
实验证明,以电子加速器产生的电子束照射医用乳胶手套,当初始染菌量小于10~3,照射剂量为25 kGy时,可获良好灭菌效果。照射后手套的乳胶质量无明显变化。
The medical rubber gloves were exposed to beta radiation generated by electron linear accelerator in laboratory and the sterilization efficacy was observed. The initial bioburden of the gloves was measured to be 72 cfu in average (10~310 cfu) and the D_(10) value of Bacillus pumilus (E601) was 1.70 kGy. On the basis of an initial bioburden of 10~3 cfu, sterility assurance level of 10^(-6)and safety rate of 30~50%, the sterilization dose was calculated to be 20~24 kGy. Three batches of gloves were irradiated with 25 kGy and were found to be free from bacteria growth after irradiation in sterility test (30 samples were tested for each batch). 112 pairs of sterilized gloves were used clinically in 60 operations and no postoperative infection occurred. No obvious change in quality of rubber gloves (color, tensibility, tensile strength, deformation rate) was found as compared with the control group.
