摘要
间接回指的回指语与先行项不同指,因而对它的理解需要借助听者或读者的百科知识,并借用适当的认知机制和语用推理以建立前后话语之间的关联性。间接回指作为一个语义概念,已被学者们从不同角度进行了研究并取得丰硕的成果。文章尝试运用概念合成理论对英语名词性间接回指语进行解读,发现该模式对间接回指语的解读更符合人类的认知规律,为自然语篇中间接回指语的动态解读提供了新的视角。
Indirect anaphora refers to the non-coreferent relationship between an anaphoric expression and its intended referent which is not explicitly expressed in prior context, but can be inferred via the specific information provided in the prior linguistic context and the heater＇s or the reader＇s encyclopedic knowledge through cognitive mechanism and pragmatic inference. As a semantic concept, indirect anaphora has been researched in the literature and significant insights have been gained through various approaches. A more feasible cognitive solution to nominal indirect anaphors in terms of conceptual blending model has been investigated, which can provide a new perspective for an interactive and dynamic account of indirect anaphora.
