跨文化教育视角下的高校英语可持续发展教育模式探究 被引量:1

摘要 我国高校英语教育多年来的理念是"重专业,轻文化",但教育归根结底是对人的塑造和培养。高校英语教学起着沟通中西方文化的桥梁作用,过去我国高校英语教学对文化课程的忽视常常导致我国大学生与西方人沟通时存在障碍,无法理解和体会外国文化,不利于加强中西方国家的文化沟通。联合国教科文组织指出因为"缺乏宽容和不同文化间缺乏相互理解",使我们没能很好地抓住教育和可持续发展的诸多机会。可见,跨文化教育为可持续发展教育奠定了基础,旨在如何将跨文化教育有效地实施于高校英语教育中,构建我国高校英语的可持续发展教育模式,从而提高我国的文化软实力。 The concept of college English education in China these years is "focus on profession, ignore culture", but education, in the final analysis, is shaping and cultivating persons. College English education plays an important role in bridging the gap between Chinese and Western cultures. In the past, neglecting of cultural courses often led to difficulty in communicating with foreigners, and they failed to understand and appreciate foreign cultures and go against cultural communication among different countries. UNESCO pointed out that "lack of tolerance and lack of mutual understanding between different cultures" had prevented us from seizing many opportunities for education and sustainable development. Therefore, cross - cultural education has laid a foundation for sustainable development education. The purpose of this paper is to make the intercultural education effective in College English education and to construct the sustainable development mode of College English education, thereby enhancing Chinese cultural soft power.
