摘要
自19世纪中叶以来的中国边疆学研究已经走过百年的历程,百年间中国边疆研究经历了三次研究高潮。三次高潮中,中国边疆危机、国家危难、社会巨变等挑战激励了边疆学者们的爱国热情,从而转化为推动中国边疆研究发展的强大动力。研究范式、研究旨趣、学者群体、学术中心不断涌现,研究地域及取向渐次转换。然而,由于国内外学者对中国边疆的独特性认识不足,研究人才基础薄弱,结构分布不合理,缺乏跨学科、综合素质高的领军人物,中国边疆学研究体系还需进一步完善,众望所归的中国边疆学始终未能成功构筑。可以说中国边疆学踏上一级学科之路任重而道远。
Since the middle of the 19 th century,the China's borderland studies has passed one hundred years,and it has experienced three tides.During these times,the Chinese borderland's crisis,national crisis and social upheaval incentive stimulated the patriotic enthusiasm of the scholars,thus converted to promotion of Chinese borderland's researchers. Research paradigm,interest,scholars and academic centers constantly appeared,research areas and orientation gradually transformed. However,due to the lack of understanding of the uniqueness of the Chinese frontier,research talent basis is inadequate; the structure distribution is unreasonable; the leaders of interdisciplinary and high comprehensive quality is deficient; the Chinese frontier science research system also needs to improve; China's borderland studies have always failed to carry out. To some extent,China's borderland studies have a long way to go.
