摘要
大学英语教学是对英语世界量范畴的认知过程。以综合英语为主的大学英语教学忽略量范畴的认知教学,导致语言技能训练量严重不足。大学英语转向将呈现三个趋势:必修学分降低、课程体系丰富化和培养双师型教师。在应用技术型本科院校转型趋势的指导下,大学英语教学需向两个核心和四个模块的课程体系转向:以量范畴认知为导向,教在用英语;以英语工具论为导向,教所需英语;包括语言技能、应试英语、专业英语和通用英语等四个模块。
College English teaching is a cognitive process of the quantity category to English speaking world.In recent years,College English teaching in China is mainly based on the Comprehensive English Course which overlooks the teaching of Quantity Category,thus resulting in the insufficiency of language skill training.The reform of College English teaching will present three trends:a decrease in compulsory credits,a richer curriculum system and more double qualified teachers.This paper proposes that the new College English curriculum system should include two cores and four modules.Two cores are:to teach the English in use and to teach the English in need.Four modules are:language skills module,English for examination module,ESP and EGP.
