The background of GB/T 32018-2015 Modified impact resistance poly（vinyl chloride） （PVC-M） pipe system for water supply was introduced. The differences between relevant China＇ s stand- ards and foreign standards were compared. The process of formulating main technical contents was described. This article can help production enterprises, downstream users and other relevant personnel of PVC-M pipe system to correctly understand the standard.
