摘要
书目控制是文献控制的组成部分,而文献控制又是社会控制的组成部分。着重论述社会控制的基本概念和原理,认为社会控制论应该成为文献控制论的上位理论。在梳理我国文献控制论研究现状的基础上,认为我国文献控制论研究目前处于低谷阶段。提出的主要观点有:①书目是书目控制的手段,文献控制的手段则包括书目手段在内的其他多种社会手段,但书目控制和文献控制的对象都是文献;②文献控制的目的是为了使文献的生产、传播和利用活动有利于社会秩序的维护,从而有利于保障社会成员的利益;③对文献控制手段的科学划分和控制机制的深入分析,是文献控制论研究的重点;④我国以往的文献控制研究在广度和深度上都存在缺陷,主要原因在于没有引入社会控制理论;⑤控制论、社会控制论和文献学是文献控制论的理论基础;⑥图书馆学、情报学、档案学、文献学应该共同承担研究文献控制问题的责任。
Bibliographic control is a method of documents control, while documents control is an integral part of social control. Based on research outputs in the field of Chinese Library and Information Science, it is found that documents control theory is at a low ebb. This paper presents a wide range of viewpoints as following. Firstly, bibliography is a means of bibliographic control. Documents control means includes a variety of other social means besides bibliography. Anyhow, the objects of bibliographic control and documents control are documents. Secondly, documents control is to make the production, communication and utilization of documents in favor of the maintenance of social order, and thus to help protect the interests of social members. Thirdly, the scientific division of documents control means and the depth analysis of the control mechanisms are respectively the focus and difficulties of documents control theory research. Fourthly, the previous documents control studies are flawed both in terms of profundity and breadth. One of the reasons is that the social control theory wasn＇t introduced coordinately. Fifthly, cybernetics, social control theory and philology are the theoretical basis of the documents control theory. And finally, library science, information science, archival science and philology should share responsibility for documents control research.
