随着知识经济的到来，信息化是历史发展的必然。图书馆的现代信息技术将以满足人们信息需求，为用户提供信息的科学性、完整性、实效性为服务方向。这种新型服务模式，将为知识经济下的图书馆增添无穷的活力，发挥不可替代的作用，是知识经济密不可分的重要组成部分。知识经济环境下的现代信息技术将为图书馆开辟新的领域。
With the coming of the knowledge- based economy information is the necessary approach to the development of history.The modern information technology of library that will supply people with information demand,with information scientification,completion and effection as service direction.This modern service woll add endless activity to the library under the knowlege economy,it will develop a great effect that can not be replaced.Moreover,it is a important component part which closely ties with the knowledge economy.Inthe future,the modern information technology will open up a neq field for library under the environment of the knowledge economy.
