摘要
近年来研究表明,真菌线粒体基因组大小存在明显变化,范围在10 kb到100多kb之间。这种变化引起了真菌学家、遗传学家及进化生物学家的浓厚兴趣。该研究综述了影响真菌物种内及物种间线粒体基因组大小变化的一些因素,包括内含子、线粒体质粒和其他可移动遗传因子。了解和认识真菌线粒体基因组的遗传变化,可以更好地帮助理解真菌乃至其他真核生物的进化。
Recent researches indicated that the genome size of fungal mitochondria varied significantly from 10 kb to more than 100 kb, which attracted broad interests of mycologists, geneticists and evolutionary biologists. In this research, we reviewed the factors affecting the genome size within fungal species and the size of mitochondrial genome between species, such as introns, mitochondrial plasmids and other mobile genetic factors. Understanding the mitochondrial genome evolution in fungi helped us to understand the evolution of fungi and other eukaryotes.
