摘要
当代大学英语教学旨在培养学生的英语综合运用能力,及听说读写译五大能力要同时提高。但是在培养学生的翻译能力方面相对薄弱。本文旨在分析翻译能力的提高对于综合能力提高的重要性以及必要性,同时论述了翻译策略在大学英语教学中的应用。大学英语教师应通过向学生教授翻译技巧并选择合适的翻译策略使学生的翻译能力得到提高,达到提高其英语综合素质的目的。
Contemporary college English teaching aims to cultivate the students ＇English comprehensive ability.However, students＇translation ability is comparatively weak.This essay aims to analyze the importance and necessity of cultivating students＇translation ability and discuss the application of translation strategies in college English teaching.College English teachers should choose the appropriate translation strategies in the English teaching process to improve students＇translation abil-ity,hense improving their comprehensive English level.
