Design Optimization of Closed Die Forging Process for High Wing Type Drive Gear

摘要 驱动齿轮具有单侧型腔深、厚度偏厚等特点。针对此特点,分析了高翼型驱动齿轮的闭式模锻工艺。根据材料流动的方向,合理设计了预锻型腔。生产出了合格的闭式模锻件,材料利用率达到94.6%,这不仅显著降低了废品率,而且提高了模具寿命。 The drive gear has characteristics of thick thickness and unilateral deep cavity. Aiming at these characteristics, the closed die forging process of high wing type drive gear was analyzed. According to the direction of material flow, reasonable pre-forging die cavity was designed. The qualified closed die forgings were produced. The material utilization rate reaches to 94.6%. This does not only reduce the rejecting rate observably, but also improves the die life.
