Kinetic Study of Bituminous Coals and Oil Shale Semi-cokes in a Batch Fluidized Bed

摘要 试验在流化床中以不同的半焦和烟煤进行。燃烧速率是通过烟气中的CO和CO2的浓度确定的。测试4种模型,但只有两种很好地描述了全部被测的燃烧速率。温度和颗粒尺寸对燃烧速率和速率控制步骤(化学或扩散)得以确定。对于小颗粒试样,反应速率常数的温度依赖性是通过阿累尼乌斯方程提供的表面活化能和指前因子确定和表示的。试验扩展到更多的试样品种和尺寸并且反应速率常数的温度依赖性被分析,结果表明在1073 K以下燃烧时为化学控制燃烧,并未达到扩散控制。 Experiments were carried out with different oil shale semi-cokes and bituminous coals in a batch fluidized bed reactor. The combustion rate was determined by measuring the CO and CO2 concentrations in the flue gas. Four models were tested, but only two well described the combustion rate for all tested samples. The effect of temperature and particle size on the combustion rate and the rate-controlling step (chemical or diffusion) were determined. With small particle size the temperature dependence of reaction rate constant was determined and expressed by the Arrhenius equation, providing the apparent activation energy and the pre-exponential factor. The experiments were extended to larger panicle size and the temperature dependence of the reaction rate constant was analyzed.
