分布式视频点播系统中动态负载平衡方法的研究 被引量:7

摘要 大多数多媒体的应用都是基于 Client/ Server通信模式的 ,用户通过高速网络访问媒体服务器上的媒体信息 ,这就需要一种通用的系统平台来负责管理用户对媒体服务器的访问 ,以达到系统资源充分利用。提出的系统平台正是基于这个目的 ,它采用动态负载平衡的方法 ,对用户访问多媒体服务器进行有效地管理 ,从而达到系统资源最有效地利用。系统访真结果表明 ,它在用户拒绝率、用户平均等待时间等方面的性能都优于传统意义上的视频点播系统。 The majority of multimedia applications are based on a client/server communication model Users may access to multimedia information through high speed network This needs a generic system platform to manage the user access to multimedia while optimizing resource utilization The system platform proposed in our paper are based on the purpose It adopts a method of dynamic-load-balance which manages the user access to multimedia efficiently while optimizing utilization system resource The result of system simulation shows that it is better than the classical vod system in refuse rate and the average time of waiting
