摘要
在力动态框架中分析BNC语料库中的487个"KEEP+V-ING"例句在物理、心理和社会领域体现的力动态概念。研究发现,(1)该构式兼有"连续性"和"重复性"两种语义,意义构建与进入该构式动词的类型及其与KEEP结合后产生的构式义密不可分;(2)该构式广泛应用于心理和社会领域,涉及"分裂自我"心理能量参与;(3)心理领域的"KEEP+V-ING"构式符合恒定状态力动态模式,而社会领域中因"他人"参与力互动,感知双方力量抗衡,一方因力量失衡,具有移变力动态特征。
Applying Talmy＇s Force Dynamics to 487 ＂KEEP ＋ V-ING＂constructions selected from BNC,this paper analyzes how entities interact with respect to force concepts in psychological and social domains. It shows that（ 1） influenced by verb types entering the construction,＂KEEP ＋ V-ING＂constructions embrace the semantic features of both repetitiveness and ceaselessness;（ 2） ＂KEEP ＋ V-ING＂constructions are widely acknowledged in psychological and social domains leading to a basic semantic configuration in language： the divided self;（ 3） Implicit in psychological force-dynamic characters are the four patterns of Steady-state Force Dynamics,while in social domain,Shifting force-dynamic patterns.
