摘要
上世纪70年代以来,德国功能派翻译理论蓬勃发展。该理论摆脱了当时盛行的对等翻译理论的束缚,打破了以前原文文本中心论的翻译研究传统,使译者更多地关注译文和译文读者,译文的社会效应和交际功能,赋予了翻译更多的涵义,拓宽了翻译理论研究的领域,也为翻译批评建立了一种新的动态模式,具有深远影响。文章将在概述该理论的形成及翻译原则的基础上,着重例证其在文学翻译批评中的应用这一颇具争议的问题,旨在说明其对文学翻译批评的适用性。
German functionalist translation theory developed from 1970s. It is different from Nida＇s equivalence theory in that it turns the attention from the source text to the target text, its reader and social functions and that it has established a new dynamic mode for translation criticism, This paper focuses on its application in literary translation criticism on the basis of the introduction to the theory.
