摘要
从人口、经济、空间和社会四个方面选取12个指标,运用均方差赋权法和线性加权法,对广西14个地级市综合城市化水平进行测度,运用Arc GIS软件将各市城市化水平进行地理空间的可视化表达,测度结果表明：从综合水平看,广西城市化水平得分介于0.1~0.4,总体发展水平低,并且各市城市化水平差异显著;城市化发展水平空间分异呈现南北高东西低的趋势;北部湾经济区和西江经济带的经济辐射能力有待提高。
Urbanization can be described from four perspectives which are population urbanization,economic urbanization,spatial urbanization and social urbanization respectively.this article managed to measure the comprehensive level of urbanization in Guangxi using the variance method and liner summing weight method to determine the weights and compute the indexes.In order to visualize the distribution of urbanization levels in the prefectures,the maps were made utilizing the software of Arc GIS to analyze the spatial of urbanization level in Guangxi.The following findings are summarized：The variance of urbanization quality among prefectures is obvious and the quality is low;The spatial differentiation characters of urbanization development quality is downtrend from south and north to west and east gradually.
