摘要
成帮万佛寺石刻造像是税图南方地区年代较早、题材丰富、往中国佛教造像艺术发展过程中产生过重要影响的一批造像。这批造像数量多、保存较完好、年代序列清晰、雕造精美、题材丰富，其重要的学术价值已为学术界广泛认同。然而，由干这些造像系清末（1644—1911年）以来陆续出土，且出土后几经辗转，给我们今天的研究带来诸多不便。
Stone sculptures and statue of Buddha were unearthed five times in the historical site of the Wanfo temple in Chengdu in1882-1954. The most of articles were collected at the Sichuan Museum,amount to36 pieces,in which 41 pieces of statue of Buddha in the Southern Dynasty,22 pieces in the Tang Dynasty.
