摘要
以跨学科为指导思想,运用皮亚杰"认知结构"观、西方"发散性"思维和汉语"系统性"思维对英语阅读进行实例分析。结果表明:1)英汉思维差异性的存在是根深蒂固;2)"求同存异",平衡二者语义功能及思维影响,需要经历同化—顺应—同化,平衡—不平衡—新的平衡循环认知过程,最终,使阅读中所出现的问题得以解决,进而培养和提高学生英语阅读理解能力。
Guided by interdisciplinary approach, this essay examines the English reading comprehension in light of Piaget's cognitive structure, divergent thinking of the Western tradition and systematic thinking of the Chinese tradition. The examination reveals that: 1 ) there is a deeply rooted difference between English thinking and Chinese thinking; 2) in order to balance the English and Chinese semantic functions and their impacts on thinking, and seek similarities while suspending differences, the assimilation-adaptation-assimilation cycle and the balance-imbalance-balance are needed to settle the differences and foster students' English reading comprehension.
