Expression and significance of PTEN and E-cadherin gene in glioma

摘要 目的 探讨PTEN和钙粘素 (E cadherin ,E cd)在胶质瘤中的表达及意义。方法 采用免疫组化方法检测 5 0例胶质瘤和 9例正常脑组织中的PTEN和E cd蛋白的表达。结果 PTEN和E cd在正常脑组织中的阳性表达率均为 10 0 % ;PTEN在Ⅰ~Ⅱ级和Ⅲ~Ⅳ级胶质瘤中阳性表达率分别为 80 %、 5 2 % ,组织学分级之间有显著差异 (P <0 0 5 ) ,与对照组之间有显著差异 (P <0 0 5 ) ;E cd在Ⅰ~Ⅱ级和Ⅲ~Ⅳ级胶质瘤中阳性表达率分别为 4 0 %、 2 4 % ,组织学分级之间无显著差异 (P>0 0 5 ) ,与对照组之间有显著差异 (P <0 0 5 ) ;PTEN和E cd表达在胶质瘤中呈正相关 (P <0 0 5 )。结论 PTEN和E cd均在与胶质瘤的发生发展中起重要作用 。 Objective To study the clinical significance of PTEN and E cadherin(E cd) expression in glioma.Methods Expression of PTEN and E cd were examined in 50cases of glioma and 9 cases of normal brain tissue by immunohistochemistry. Results The normal expession rate of PTEN and E cd were 100%in normal brain tissue. In Ⅰ~Ⅱ grade and Ⅲ~Ⅳ grade of glioma, it was 80% and 52% respectively. There was significantly difference in the pathological grades of glioma (P<0 05) and between the normal brain tissue and glioma (P<0 05). The total normal expression rate of E cd was 40% and 24% in Ⅰ~Ⅱ grade and Ⅲ~Ⅳ grade respectively, which was without any significant difference(P>0 05), but the difference between the normal brain tissue and glioma was notable. The expression of PTEN was positively correlated to the expression of E cd. Conclusions PTEN and E cd play an important role in the behavior of aggression in glioma.
