摘要
Ideas are reflection of existence, and there is archive consciousness since human being has their archives and archival work. Archive consciousness means mainly degree of recognition, emphasis and practicing, from society, to archives, archival value, archive utilization and archives protection. Archive consciousness is different in different societies. The development and evolution of archive consciousness experiences three historical periods: the ancient, modern and contemporary. This article briefly expounds the formation and features of archive consciousness in these three times.
