摘要
提出并设计了一种新型的合成SiC微粉的方法———利用反应料导电产生焦耳热供反应顺利进行 ,并实验合成了微米级的SiC微粉 .用SEM ,XRD和粒度测试仪等手段研究了该方法合成产物的微观形态和特性 .反应区中心部位发育较充分的晶体粒径为 9~ 11μm ,反应区外沿的粒径 <5 .0 μm ,均比Acheson工艺合成后经过粉碎加工的SiC微粉或专门用稻壳合成的SiC微粉更细小 .XRD测试表明其晶相主要是β-SiC,α -SiC含量非常少 .分析了反应料发热法的导电发热的机理及反应过程 ,并计算了反应过程中反应区的电阻率 .反应料发热法与高温自蔓延反应及传统的Acheson技术都有重要区别 。
A new method for preparing SiC micro_powders by reactant conducting electricity and generating heat without graphite core was designed and presented. The micro morphology and characteristic of synthesized SiC products were studied with SEM, XRD and granulometry. The sizes of maturity SiC grains at the center of reaction zone are 9-11 μm, while the grains at the outer zone are smaller than 5.0 μm. XRD result shows that the crystal phase in the SiC grains is mainly β -SiC, with very little α -SiC phase. The mechanism of reactant conducting electricity and the process of reaction were studied and the specific resistance of the reaction zone during the reaction process was calculated.
