摘要
本文试图从理论与实践的结合上阐述对“多科性、研究型、开放式”大学科学内涵的理解。“多科性”主要强调学科面必须适度拓宽 ;“研究型”则要强调科学研究的地位、研究生规模、博士后专职科研人员 ,以及科研课题、经费和成果 ;“开放式”则是指办学模式、育人模式、教学语言、师资队伍建设、科研模式、科技成果转化模式等多方面的开放 。
This article explains the meaning of a 'multidisciplinary,research oriented and open' university both theoretically & practically.What is called a multidisciplinary university is one that emphasizes the concept of broadening the existing disciplines.By a research oriented university the author means the presence of the stress on the important position of scientific research,the enlargement of the enrollment of graduates and post doctoral research fellows,and their research achievements and funds.An 'open university' refers to the overall opening up of the following areas:its administrative modes,its modes for scientific research,its modes for producing talented people,its language of instruction,the training of teachers and the transformation of scientific achievements into practical products,with the commercialization of the supporting services and facilities included.
