摘要
根据MADS box基因的保守区结构 ,设计简并性引物 ,利用RT PCR从水稻 (OryzasativaL .)中克隆到一个新的水稻MADS box基因cDNA片段 ,将它命名为FDRMADS5 .该基因核苷酸序列 85 1bp ,编码 16 0个氨基酸 ,有典型的植物MADS box基因的结构 .FDRMADS5的Southern分析 ,表明它为单拷贝基因 .用Northern检测了FDRMADS5的表达情况 ,发现该基因除了在花中有表达外 ,在水稻的根尖和幼苗端中也有微量的表达 .这一结果表明 ,水稻的MADS
s:A new MADS box gene, FDRMADS 5 was cloned from rice ( Oryza sativa L.) by RT PCR using degenerate primer designed based on the MADS box conserved region. This gene has 851 bp and encoded 160 amino acids, which indicates its structure of typical plant MADS box gene. The Southern blot analysis showed that the FDRMADS 5 was a single copy gene in rice. The Northern blot analysis detected that the FDRMADS 5 expressed not only in flowed but also in root tips and shoot tips at a low level. The result suggests that the MADS box gene have played an important role in the rice flower development, though the MADS box may not restrict to the development.
