摘要
本文综述凝聚态物理学近几年来的重要进展,列举了一些事例予以阐述。在第Ⅲ部分中涉及的主题为细小体系及凝聚态中的非线性现象。讨论的问题包括:介观系统中的量子相干性和电子输运,团簇的幻数和壳层结构,离子阱中库仑团簇的类相变行为,魔梯,自组织临界性和非平衡态流体中空时图样的形成与演化。
The important developments in condensed matter physics in recent years are surveyed and illustrated with a number of examples. Part HI is mainly concerned with the small systems and some nonlinear problems in condensed matter. The topics treated include:quantum coherence and electron transport in mesoscopic systems, magic numbers and shell structures of clusters, phase transition-like behaviors of Coulomb clusters in ion-traps, devil's staircase, self-organized criticality and finally formation and evolution of spatio-temporal patterns in nonequilibrium fluids.
