摘要
知识经济时代的到来以及我国加入WTO,使知识与知识化劳动力成为紧俏资源。围绕大学的功能等问题需确立三大观念:大学正走向普通百姓;办大学是生产性投资;大学具有培养人才、科学研究、社会服务三种功能。创办临沂综合性大学,将显著提高临沂市高层次人才培养能力与水平;将以科技创新为主战场,为临沂市经济社会发展增添活力;将进一步提高临沂的城市品位和文化品位。
Knowledge and knowledgeable labour force become badly-needed with the coming of knowledge economy times and China's joining WTO. Three ideas should be established around the functions of university: University is coming to or-dinary people; Running university is productive investment; University has the three functions of Fostering qualified personnel, scientific research and serving society. The founding of Linyi University will greatly improve the ability and level of high-level qualified personnel's training of Linyi city; will add vitality to the development of Linyi's economy and society with the creation of science as the main field; will greatly improve Linyi's city and culture grade.
