Chirp Performance of Converted Signal in Wavelength Conversion Based on Cross-Gain Modulation in SOA

摘要 对基于半导体光放大器中交叉增益调制效应的波长转换后信号的啁啾特性进行了分析。研究了输入信号光和参考光的功率、波长、转换速率。 The chirp performance of converted signal in wavelength conversion based on crossgain modulation (XGM) in semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) was analyzed. The chirp of the converted signal was investigated regarding to the power and wavelength of signal and probe, the bit rate, the extinction ratio (ER) of the signal and the SOA bias current.
